Inspired by the style of pants Jesse Owens wore during a morning sprint in London, these pants spark character in the modern man. While many know of Jesse’s four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, few know how much Jesse struggled coming back to a United States that rewarded him with seats in the back of the bus, no endorsements, and no job opportunities.
Jesse showed character by refusing to blame others for his misfortune and to instead overcome them through hard work and personal responsibility. Jesse’s character made him one of the first African American role models for the United States.
Each pants purchase provides freedom and safety for survivors while also helping the L.A.P.D. arrest traffickers in Los Angeles through our partnerships with the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) and the Los Angeles Police Foundation.
